The Illustrated Sandwich Independent Short Show premiere of Episode 1: Chick School was held at the Ashland Elks Lodge on Friday Jan. 25 to a very entertained crowd. The first screening was during a Dinner and a Movie Event, where over 100 local patrons had a home-cooked pizza dinner catered by Joe Porto - who also has a featured role in Episode 1. After dinner, these guests all were honored with the very first screening of The Illustrated Sandwich Independent Short Show at 8pm. Later in the evening, with the bar open for cocktails, about 35-40 new fans showed up for a secondary screening and again were quite entertained.

The Illustrated Sandwich Independent Short Show will begin screening to Southern Oregon Audiences at 7:30 on Sunday Nights starting Feb. 23, 2008. New episodes will show each Sunday for 6 weeks. Stay tuned to RVTV to catch all new episodes, and if you want to be included on further updates, just contact us at SidFilmz to subscribe to our email updates, or go to IllustratedSandwich.com for more entertainment from Illustrated Sandwich.

My Name is Bruce Movie Film Trailer

Shot on location in the haunted woods of Gold Lick, the story follows an avid fan of Bruce Campbell, the B-Movie star, who kidnaps the actor in order to save the Podunk Town of rednecks from the hands of an ancient Chinese Warrior Demon. Bruce Campbell wrote, directed, and stars in this comedy horror film produced by Dark Horse Entertainment.

Also starring Ted Raimi in an assortment of roles, this spoof on the sci-fi horror film has been highly anticipated by true Bruce fans (psychopaths & non-disturbed alike).

Current news is optimistic for a Theatrical Release in 2008.

"Several factors added up to what seems like a long gestation for a low-budget movie—most of them good. Image Entertainment liked the first cut they saw and were interested in some enhancements—both a few new scenes and an upgrade of the visual effects, allowing us to go theatrical, which is something they will be weighing after we screen the completed film for them within the next two weeks."
- B. Campbell (feb. '08)

48-Hr. Film Project '07 - The Last Laugh
Friday, 24 August 2007

NealHam has once again successfully completed their latest entry in the 48 Hour Film Project. This year's video is a holiday film entitled, "The Last Laugh."

SidFilmz didn't make it up to Portland to lend a hand this year, but we hope to see Best Picture, Best Special Effects, and Best Line of Dialogue Awards on this year's production. Good Luck in the judging, Nealham!
